After School Clubs

Drama Club

Fizz’s Drama Club runs every Wednesday (Key Stage 2) and Thursday (Key Stage 1) from 3:30pm-4:30pm. Over the course of the term the children will play fun and exciting drama games, learn how to improvise, devise short performances, and work on some brilliant scripts! During the last lesson of the term, we put on a short performance to show parents just what we’ve been working on, allowing you to see just how far your future super star has progressed!

Fizz (Felicity) is a professional actress with years of experience teaching drama, dance and singing to children of all ages. Her main aims are that the children in her class increase in confidence, learn new skills and hopefully discover a new passion for performing. And of course, at the same time, have a truly brilliant time!

Film Club

Branfil’s Film Club is making a welcome return and takes place on a Tuesday after school and is led by Miss Goodman. Film clubs give children and young people the opportunity to watch, discuss and review films, as well as training and online resources to make their own films. This is a fantastic launch pad for introducing young people to film, as well as boosting literacy, critical thinking and film making skills too!

Choir Club

Branfil School Choir is a club that is fun and enjoyable for children of all age groups. The group is lead by Mrs Campbell teaching the children a vast array of songs comprising from many genres and styles of music. There are also many opportunities for the children to perform throughout the year, showcasing the talent of Branfil before a wide audience of people to see and hear, which has and is continuing to grow. Last year the choir sang in ‘Young Voices at the O2, Music Festival at the Queens Theatre Hornchurch, Branfil’s summer concert, Branfil’s Christmas Bazaar and at the Dementia Club in Upminster.’ Speak to a choir member or Mrs Campbell to find out more!

Girls Football

Miss Bain runs a football club for girls in Year 5 and Year 6.
